The Difference Between a Disease and a Disorder
The difference between a disease and a disorder is that a disease can be cured, while a disorder requires aids to put things in order. When units are working perfectly but are connected with improper order, it is known as a disorder. Take an example of a famous machine known as ‘Clock’ when my clock has a broken hand, when it has a junked wheel, I would say my clock is not in ship shape or working with ease (DISEASED!) But say that, its hands have the capacity to move, when its each minute and hour numbers are well crafted, when its dial is beautiful, but what if the numbers are not placed orderly, what if it’s hour’s hand and minute hands are misplaced. I would say that the clock has a DISORDER not a disease!

Children with autism do not lack the ability to speak, hear, or walk. There is a difference between children who do not speak and those who are not social, between children who cannot hear and those who cannot follow instructions, and between children who cannot walk and those who have motor challenges. Understanding these differences is crucial to understanding what autism is.
